Sage Intacct is priced by quotation, as an annual SaaS subscription shaped by three things: the modules you licence, the number and type of users, and the number of legal entities you run. There is also a once-off implementation fee. No public price list exists, and this article explains what moves your quote up or down.
If you have searched for a Sage Intacct price list, you will have noticed there isn't one. Intacct is priced by quotation, as a subscription scoped to your organisation. That frustrates buyers who just want a number. So instead of pretending there is a standard price, here is exactly what determines your quote, from the partner that scopes these projects every week.
The pricing model
Sage Intacct is a SaaS subscription, typically billed annually. Your subscription is shaped by the modules you licence, the number and type of users, and the number of legal entities you run. On top of the subscription there is a once-off implementation investment covering scoping, configuration, data migration, integration and training.
What drives the subscription up or down
- Entities. More legal entities means more consolidation scope. This is usually the biggest single factor for groups.
- Modules. Core financials come first. Project accounting, revenue recognition, AP automation and other modules add to the subscription. Licence what you will use in year one and add later.
- Users and user types. Full users cost more than business (light) users. Mapping who truly needs full access is the easiest cost-saver in scoping.
- Integrations. Salesforce is a native integration. Other CRM, payroll or e-commerce systems connect via the REST API and are scoped into implementation.
What implementation involves
Most of our Sage Intacct implementations go live in 8 to 16 weeks. The implementation fee reflects entities, data migration complexity and integrations. A single-entity business moving from a clean general ledger is a very different project from a six-entity group with intercompany eliminations.
How to budget sensibly
- Scope users before requesting quotes. Count full users and light users separately.
- Phase the modules. Start with core financials plus your one highest-pain module.
- Budget implementation as a once-off alongside the annual subscription, and include training.
- Compare like for like. When comparing quotes or rival products, list what each includes: entities, users, modules, support.
