Brilliant Link, Velixo partnership transforms reporting for SA Sage Intacct customers

Sage partner Brilliant Link has joined forces with Velixo, a specialist in reporting, budgeting and automation solutions, to enhance financial reporting capabilities for Sage Intacct users in South Africa.

Darshan Naidu, Reporting and Analytics Manager at Brilliant Link, explains that the partnership addresses a clear market gap.

The collaboration targets larger clients and organisations with multiple entities that require advanced data analysis. Naidu describes Velixo's capabilities: "With Velixo live feeds, you can refresh data and produce results quickly and efficiently," while analysing and restructuring information across finance, operations and sales functions.

Days of work cut to hours

Since launching in August, the partnership has achieved significant uptake. One customer notably reduced complex VAT report generation from three days to just a few hours, demonstrating immediate, practical benefits.

Duffy Cohen, Velixo VP of Sales and Customer Success, reports strong South African market performance. "South Africa is now our fifth largest market of the 26 countries we have a presence in," he notes. High user engagement metrics indicate that customers are extensively using the platform's functionality.

Built for local needs

Recent product enhancements include automated extraction of Sage Intacct attachments and Universal Writeback functionality, enabling direct data imports from Excel into Sage Intacct for bulk updates and corrections.

Naidu emphasises Velixo's alignment with local needs, particularly regarding automation and the security controls for managing data access across South African sectors including food and beverage, financial services and nonprofits.
