Brilliant Link, an ERP and accounting software specialist and long-standing Sage partner, reported an enthusiastic reception for Sage Intacct among its Sage 200 Evolution customers during a recent breakfast event in Midrand.
Devon Rimmington, Director at Brilliant Link, said the response at the gathering was "overwhelmingly positive" and that "Sage Intacct adds significant value to our customers." After supporting customers on Sage 200 for roughly two decades, Brilliant Link expects Sage Intacct to serve a similar longevity.
Rimmington explained that customers began seeking alternatives around five years ago, wanting modern capabilities including AI, dashboarding and automation, functionality that previously required external development. Sage Intacct addresses these gaps directly.
Cloud finance, demonstrated live
The breakfast featured Sage executives including Gerhard Hartman and Jordaan Burger, who emphasised the benefits of native cloud financial solutions and the rapid deployment of new features through Sage Intacct's global developer network.
Rahana Vally, a Brilliant Link Director, highlighted several key capabilities.
"Sage Intacct Collaborate literally puts everyone on the same page."
Rahana Vally, Director, Brilliant LinkShe noted that it enables real-time communication and auditor access without extensive file preparation, with additional strengths including streamlined approvals and bank feeds. The product addresses the industry trend toward cloud-based systems, eliminating on-premises server management while ensuring constant availability and accessibility.
Live demonstrations showcased built-in dashboarding, analytics, dimensional transaction processing and custom workflows. Future roadmap items include embedded machine learning for outlier detection and document recognition.
