The Sage 200 Evolution Service Manager module allows you to track the service, repair, and maintenance of external & internal assets. The module allows you to create job cards from those processes.
This module is ideal for any business that undertakes maintenance and repairs of items. Sage 200 has a detailed and efficient way to allocate access permissions for agents. The same applies to the Service Manager module. You are able to set agent rights as well as user-defined fields for 3 types of records. Namely service agents, service requests, and service tasks.
You are able to set user rights for each agent. Select whether your agents can add, edit, delete, or access functions such as:
Assets, locations/geography, requests, technicians, transactions, enquiries, and reports.
Specify exactly which GL accounts will be updated when items/invoices are processed. Update your Sales accounts, AR control account, Inventory account, cost of goods, and more. Specify transactions, invoices, and credit notes directly from within the application as it is linked to your existing GL account structure.
However, you need to ensure that you have at least one service item specified within your Sage database. You have to specify this item directly in your Sage Manager defaults. For Example, in your list of Inventory Items, create a service item such as the time technicians spend on repairs and maintenance.
Under your services, you will have details on the different documents, service requests, service asset numbering, and task templates. Specify whether you would like to use automatic numbering, specify prefixes, and character setups.
If you repair internal assets, you can specify internal asset customers on your existing database. You will have details of the availability of your technicians. For example, if your business operates from 8 am – 4 pm, you can specify those details within your Sage Evolution Service manager module defaults. Also specify the different units that your technicians will use for billing purposes (for example, per hour or per minute).
The Sage 200 Evolution Service Manager module simplifies the scheduling and management of the assets within your business. If your business deals in the rental and servicing of assets, you may find it difficult to keep track of the customer letting, repair, and maintenance process involved. This is a solution that streamlines processes, allowing you to work more proactively. Sage Service Manager module gives you full control over the scheduling and management of any internal or customer service asset with the automation of service requests, tasks, and timetables.
Gain visibility of your assets’ service history and ensure they remain in good service. There are a lot of complexities in the service business, managing and scheduling services shouldn’t be. Give your customers world-class service delivery.
